On the way there he was aggressively tailgated, honked at, and flipped off by one of their workers over the course of ~8 minutes. After reviewing the videos myself, the only thing I saw that could have brought this behavior on was my son driving at the posted speed limit.

Way too close of a following distance on the freeway in moderate traffic. He had to swerve and panic brake to avoid rear ending me as traffic slowed to a crawl over about a quarter of a mile. There was plenty of time, distance, and visibility to see what was happening ahead and it was not a sudden stop, yet still so close to hitting me.
