Guy ran a stop sign when I had the right of way. When I honked once, he stopped in the middle of the road, got out of his car, approached my window, and threatened me. He said he would break my window and said, "I'll mess you up, B****!" After we drove off, he proceeded to attempt to cause a car accident with me on purpose. Also had out-of-date tabs. I went to the police station, but they said there was no crime and wouldn't let me file a report, so dispatch put out a BOLO on his car, but I have not been contacted again. This happened at Universal by the Hilton and car chargers in Los Angeles at 1:23pm today 3/7/2026.

Incident occurred at roughly 1:30pm on Friday, February 27, travelling northbound on I-95, starting near Exit 37B in Providence and lasting until Exit 43 in Pawtucket. Driver initially made an unsafe lane change (leftmost lane to middle lane) while navigating the curve before the set of exits at Providence (near Amica Mutual Pavilion). While attempting to pass this vehicle (my vehicle was already in leftmost lane), the driver of the Toyota Corolla unsafely started to veer back into my lane, nearly causing a collision. I sounded my horn to alert the driver and accelerated forward to avoid contact. Apparently this frustrated the motorist to the point where the driver sped up while in the adjacent lane, this time overtaking me while cutting me off in the process (another unsafe lane change). Shortly after, with moderate to heavy traffic, the Corolla unnecessarily slowed down to speeds below 50mph while in the leftmost/fast lane, clearly a brake-checking response directed at me. That antic continued for about a mile past the Route 146 exits, at which point traffic was lighter. In another exhibit of road rage, the motorist made clear attempts to block any passing attempts by me; whenver I indicated a lane change, the Corolla would swerve into that same lane, failing to use its turn signals on every occasion. The driver repeated this unsafe behavior for the duration of the encounter all the way until Exit 43 near the state border of Rhode Island and Massachusetts. At that point, I was successfully able to navigate past the offending motorist without any further confrontation, but the totality of actions by the driver of the Corolla this afternoon are abjectly unacceptable and needs to be put on notice as hazardous.
