I was on i5 Southbound before taking my exit for 78, I was safely lane splitting at a speed near 30-35mph while other vehicles were going about 20mph. Gray Tesla Model 3 9HYT726 did not take well that I was safely lane splitting through traffic on my motorcycle (as is legal per California Vehicle Code). After an empty pocket opened up in traffic, Gray Tesla 9HYT726 got behind me suddenly, carelessly cutting off another car in the process, then he accelerated brutally and got very close to the rear of my bike in a threatening manner while simultaneously making gestures that he would smash me with his hands. I eventually rode into the left shoulder to let him pass me and was able to take my exit. After he passed me he was slowing down further ahead as to wait for me, luckily I took my exit and he was not able to follow me anymore.
