Discription of Events: This driver was speeding up Temple Street in Waterbury, which is a residential road. They were driving well beyond the speed limit during after-school hours when kids are walking back from school. They were driving recklessly and blasting music at a ridiculous level. I used a decibel meter to measure the loudness level, and it was beyond 90 decibels. The noise ordinance in Waterbury only allows a noise level of up to 55 decibels. So not only was the driver being reckless the volume of their music also doesn\'t allow them to be aware of what is going on around them while driving, and unnecessarily disturbed the entire neighborhood. This vehicle turned into my neighbor\'s house across the street and continued to blast the music for no reason other than to disturb and harass my family and the rest of the neighborhood. On top of that the legal status of my neighbors across the street is questionable, and they have had the police called on them numerous times for noise ordinance violations, reckless driving, DUIs, fire hazards violations, littering, plowing snow from their driveway into mine and much more. The occupants have totaled another vehicle prior while intoxicated. These people are dangerous and the police continue to do nothing.
